Our Journey

In 2019, Daksh, Dipak, Arun, and Shivam met at Seneca College of Applied Arts, taking a leap of faith by leaving their homes in India to chase their dreams in Canada.

When in mid-2023, the Hollywood strikes reverberated through the industry, halting production and leaving countless artists out of work, they thought of giving their craft a chance in the market.

Together, they had shared late nights working on projects, brainstorming ideas, and perfecting their craft during college times. Inspired by their collective skills and passion, they gathered once again, this time forming a team!

In April 2024, Picture24 VFX was born—a name that encapsulated their ambition to create stunning visuals that told compelling stories, capturing the magic of cinema in every frame.

With the very first project, Village Keeper, being selected for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF '24) and went on to be nominated in Canadian Screen Awards, known as the Oscars of Canada. It felt like a dream realized. Since then, Arun Midha has helmed the team serving as head of compositing, alongside Daksh, who works as VFX producer and AI engineer, with Shivam and Dipak as VFX supervisors within the team. Vishal Prajapati joined as a VFX editor and Devarshi Vaidya as tools R&D engineer, thus the team expanded.

Currently, the team is working for regional Indian films and indie North American productions with quality and innovation!
